Club Brugge has appointed Piet Cremers as the new coach of the reserve team Club NXT. He takes over from Jonas De Roeck, from whom the club says goodbye after the past season.

What happened?

The 31-year-old Dutchman comes from the national team of Wales, where he was active as assistant coach of national coach Craig Bellamy.

Why is this important for Club Brugge?

This is the first time Cremers will be in charge on his own. Club Brugge is currently leading the Jupiler Pro League with 57 points, 4 points more than Union St. Gilloise.

What's next?

Club Brugge has scored 91 goals and conceded 45 goals in the past season, with a goal difference of +46. The club will now try to continue these good results under the leadership of Cremers.
