Club Brugge played a friendly match against PSV and ended with a draw of 1-1. The match took place in De Herdgang in Eindhoven, PSV's training complex. Gustaf Nilsson was seen for the first time in blue-black attire. Hayen started with his strongest team, with youth products Et-Taïbi and Seys as wing defenders. Sabbe, De Cuyper, and Meijer were not available. Up front, Tzolis made his debut. The best chances were for PSV, but Mignolet ensured that his team went to the dressing room without conceding a goal. In the second half, Club Brugge scored quickly, thanks to a nice goal from Nielsen. Talbi forgot to pass shortly after when the young striker was alone on goal. On the other side, the goal did fall: Mignolet first caught a attempt from De Jong, but with a curl from Saibari in minute 57, it was worth it. The match lasted 105 minutes, in which Noa Lang also made his first minutes since his injury in January. Also at Club, eight new names came in, including Jackers, Yameogo, and Boyata. The last half hour was mainly played between reserves. Barbera had to be replaced injured by Lund Jensen. Eventually, it remained 1-1, with which Club Brugge returned to Brugge with a positive feeling. The club had a tough training week in Sint-Michielsgestel behind them. The next match will have to show if Club Brugge has found its form again. Club Brugge: Mignolet, Et-Taïbi, Spileers, Mechele, Seys, Vetlesen, Nielsen, Vanaken, Nusa, Tzolis, Jutgla. Goals: 48’ Nielsen 0-1, 57’ Saibari 1-1
