Jan Virgili is close to a lightning transfer to Club Brugge, according to transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri. The young player, who is currently 20 years old and plays as a flank attacker, is set to travel to Belgium soon for his medical examination on Friday. If everything goes according to plan, he will sign a contract with the Belgian champions until mid-2030 for approximately twelve million euros.
Earlier, it was known that Ajax had Virgili on their radar as well. Technical director Jordi Cruijff would have listed the 20-year-old as a potential replacement for Mika Godts should he leave. Noa Lang's name also came up, but Virgili would be one of the more affordable options.

Last summer, Virgili made the move from FC Barcelona’s youth academy to RCD Mallorca for around 3.5 million euros. Last season, he played in 31 La Liga matches and scored two goals and provided six assists. The Catalan club has a clause of forty percent on any future transfer fee, which they will also benefit from in this deal. The twelve million euros was the agreed-upon buyout clause after Mallorca's relegation.
